Doaa Magdy (she/they)

Doaa is a polyglot, award-winning visionary, filmmaker, film critic, event producer, podcast host, and somatic yoga teacher. She is the founder and director of Horror in Seconds, Canada’s first BIPOC horror festival, spotlighting underrepresented voices in horror through 60 second movies, drag, and live performance.

When she’s not watching or reviewing horror movies, you can find her teaching Twerking Yoga across Vancouver. 

Josalynn Smith

Writer/director Josalynn Smith is a graduate of Columbia University’s Film MFA program. Smith’s been recognized by Sundance, SFFILM, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Smith’s feature directorial debut, Ride or Die, was produced by Jamie Foxx and premiered at Tribeca 2025. Currently, they are a 2026 Fellow in the Queer Art Mentorship Program.

Mia Moore Marchant

Mia Moore Marchant is a queer filmmaker and actress who moved from small town Washington to Los Angeles in 2018. Her films deal with themes of identity, transformation, and queer romance. “Again Again” is Mia’s feature film debut and sci-fi mystery.
