Passes
Festival Pass
The all-access Festival Pass gives you access to all film screenings and events in our program, online and in-person. There are two price points to choose from, $100 and $195. An Early Bird Discount price of $140 is available until August 11, 2024.
We are pleased to offer FREE all-access Industry Passes to equity-deserving filmmakers, programmers, and students in related fields. Learn more and apply for an Industry Pass. Powered by Warner Bros. Discovery.
What you get:
- Access to all in-person screenings and events across downtown Vancouver.
- First pick of seats when theatres open 30 minutes before each screening. All other ticketholders enter ~15 minutes before each screening.
- Access to our online Watch Platform where you can stream our films from anywhere in BC.
- Membership to the Vancouver Out On Screen Film and Video Society
Passholders can pick up their printed pass (with your name on it!) and lanyard at Box Office during the Festival and/or access a virtual pass on your mobile device. We reserve ~30% of seats for passholders at each screening. While we’ve never had to turn away passholders before, for popular and sold-out screenings, we recommend passholders collect a slip up to 60 minutes before start time at the venue’s Box Office to “save” their seat. Passholders also enter the theatre first!
Digital Pass
The Digital Pass provides full access to all of our online film screenings and is perfect for those who prefer to only or primarily watch from home! The Digital Pass does not provide access to any in-person screenings, and additional ticket purchases will be required.
What you get:
- Access to our online Watch Platform where you can stream our films from anywhere in BC.
- Membership to the Vancouver Out On Screen Film and Video Society

Memberships
Out On Screen operates in compliance with the Motion Picture Act and Consumer Protection BC. Per the laws of these bodies, you must be a member of The Vancouver Out On Screen Film and Video Society and 18 years of age and older to view unrated films.
All tickets will automatically include a non-voting membership to the society. Films that are unrated still require attendees to be 18 years of age or older and this will be verified at each screening.
Our voting membership goes above and beyond: it’s a statement that you support the work that we do at Out On Screen using the transformative power of film to uplift queer, trans, and Two Spirit people and artists. Voting memberships are included with all Festival Passes. You may also purchase a voting membership for $5.
If the price of a voting membership is prohibitive but you’d love to engage with the society, please reach out to info@outonscreen.com.
Voting Membership
For patrons aged 18 and up. Allows voting at our AGM and input into Society motions. Festival Passes include 1 voting membership.
Memberships are limited to 1 per person.
