Put your brand power to good use. Work with us to uplift marginalized voices and connect with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

The VQFF welcomes more than 12,000 annual attendees to celebrate queer, trans, and Two Spirit communities across 11 days of film screenings, intimate artists talks, parties, and special community events.

Our Out In Schools program reaches an average of 13,950 youth throughout the province each year. We use film-based presentations to share the authentic lived experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ people, making schools safer and more inclusive.

On average, only about 20% of our operating budget is supported through public sector grants. Corporate sponsors and funders make up a portion of the gap, helping to keep our programs accessible for community members.

You get it. Leading companies understand the value of bold ideas, decisive plans, and proven results – so do we. Together, we can build more vibrant, inclusive communities. At Out On Screen, donors, sponsors, volunteers and film-lovers like you believe in a world where queer, trans, and Two Spirit people are equitably valued and represented. By becoming a sponsor of either the Vancouver Queer Film Festival or Out In Schools, you can provide resources for us to curate innovative film programs, convene critical discussions, and catalyze social change for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. You can change lives. Your support will:

  • showcase the best in independent queer film from around the world
  • allow youth to see their lived experiences authentically expressed on screen
  • build a meaningful brand connection with local 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
  • create safer spaces for queer communities to connect, share, and celebrate
