Trans Care BC

A division of BC’s Provincial Health Services Authority, Trans Care BC helps trans people to navigate the health system including equitable and accessible care, planning for gender-affirming surgery, and overcoming other obstacles in the health system.

Qmunity Youth Services

Qmunity provides a variety of services for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, including drop-in sessions, community events, resources for parents, and gender affirming clothing.

CampOUT!

CampOUT is a leadership and learning summer camp exclusively for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth. Campers are able to meet with other queer, trans, and Two Spirit youth to learn and share strategies for building community.

UNYA

The Urban Native Youth Association provides meaningful opportunities for Indigenous youth living in urban areas to connect with each other and their culture. The 2-Spirit Collective specifically provides support to Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ Indigenous youth.

SOGI 1 2 3

SOGI 1 2 3 provides resources for educators at all levels of the BC education system to integrate gender identity and sexual orientation equitably into the classroom.

BCTF LGBTQ2S+ Resources

The BC Teachers’ Federation provides members with a variety of tools to incorporate 2SLGBTQIA+ topics into their classrooms and to the support queer, trans, and Two-Spirit youth they work with every day.

Pride Education Network

The Prided Education Network brings together current and former educators, parents, and education field experts of all levels to build safer, more inclusive school communities and learning environments.

GLSEN

Based in the USA, GLSEN supports educators and youth throughout the US education system to launch top-down and grassroots initiatives that create positive change for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
