In the aftermath of the Pulse nightclub tragedy, Paul Rowley began documenting the work of Gays Against Guns, a direct action group committed to “nonviolently breaking the gun industry’s chain of death.” What began as standalone archival footage grew into a decade-long exploration of ongoing activism and the fight to end gun violence through protest.
While grief remains ten years after the shooting in 2016, determination is ever present among friends and families of the victims. Through interviews, photographs, and stories shared by loved ones, the film brings audiences closer to those affected by gun violence. Gays Against Guns honours their memories, preserves their stories, and highlights the power of collective action in the pursuit of change.
