Shan Jiang

Shan is a Los Angeles-based writer-director whose work explores intimacy, displacement, and the instability of identity. Working across cultures and genres, she is interested in disrupting familiar tropes by centering queer Asian subjectivity not as symbol, but as lived experience. Shan’s feature screenplay “Love, Elephant & Tourbillon” is the Grand Prize Winner at the 2024 BlueCat Screenplay Competition.
