An intimate, moving, and joyful documentary following Ísis Broken and Lourenzo Gabriel as they navigate an unexpected pregnancy as a trans couple in Brazil. Their journey unfolds as a heartwarming love letter to their child, Apolo, layered with an honest portrayal of trans-centered family life. Co-directors Tainá Müller and Ísis Broken expose the inaccessibility of healthcare for trans people with hope. Where trans rights are faced with resistance, this family story offers affection.

Awarded Best Documentary at Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival. Following a successful World Premiere, Apolo celebrated its International Premiere at SXSW.

Stay tuned for more details when we release our full programme on August 13, 2026!
