Lace up your Docs and don your black lipstick–our annual Halloween fundraiser is BACK with the witchy 90s teen horror The Craft (1996), featuring drag performances by Count Cupid and Bongganisa!
All ticket sales and donations made in October will support Out In Schools.
Out In Schools is the only program delivering life-affirming 2SLGBTQIA+ education to 9,000 youth annually across BC. Right-wing politicians and activists in BC are trying to remove SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) education from schools, and we need your support to help ensure the future of positive 2SLGBTQIA+ education through Out In Schools. Your support makes a difference in the lives of thousands of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth we reach annually in this province. Get your ticket and donate now!
Tier 1 (Limited availability) – $20
Tier 2 (Standard) – $30
Door tickets – $30

The Craft (1996)
When a newcomer to a Catholic prep high school falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft, they join forces to curse their enemies until, drunk on power, they begin to turn on one another.
Featuring a delightfully wicked performance from Fairuza Balk as the tortured, goth coven leader Nancy, The Craft is a testament to the intoxicating thrill of vengeance and the messiness of navigating female power and friendship.
Content notes: Please be advised that this film contains discussions of suicide and depictions of self-harm, sexual assault, violence, and anti-Black racism. The film also contains negative, stigmatizing depictions of mental illness and institutionalization that we encourage you to view critically.
There also many creepy crawlies (snakes, tarantulas, maggots–oh my!) for those who are squeamish.
Note on Halloween Costumes
Costumes are very much encouraged! We ask that you not wear costumes that portray a stereotyped, offensive, or appropriative image of a culture or group. This includes but is not limited to ceremonial regalia, hairstyles of cultures you do not belong to (dreadlocks, afros, etc.), and damaging or mocking depictions of people with disabilities or illnesses.
If you’re unsure whether your costume is appropriate, please contact us at info@outonscreen.com, and we’d be happy to provide some guidance.
We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who violates these guidelines.
