Director, '12 Angry Lesbians'

Patrice Leung is a Trinidad-born, Chinese, Canadian, lesbian, mother of two. For over forty years she has plied her trade as an Assistant Director in film and television. She has directed and produced a couple of documentaries. And her writing has been published in a few anthologies. Floor hockey and pickleball are au courant but for years she played third base in the Mabel League.

Gabriel Souza Nunes

Director, 'Passiflora'

Gabriel (he/they) is an award-winning gender-queer Brazilian Writer-Director based in Vancouver. Their work is frequently inspired by Latin American folklore, Magical Realism and Queer expressions, exploring themes like nostalgia, acceptance and diasporic relationships. In 2022 their short film “I Remember Everything” won the Best Latin Canadian Short at Vancouver Latin American Film Festival.

Olivia Marie Golosky

Director, 'pîķîwî'

Hailing from nistawâyâw, Olivia is a Two-Spirit Michif Screenwriter, Director, Production Coordinator and Producer. Olivia’s passion is to empower Two-Spirit, Queer, and Trans Indigenous voices through a lens of radical self-love and joy. In their solo work, they anchor their voice around displacement and rebuilding their world as a Survivor. Their works have screened at festivals and galleries across Turtle Island. They are currently in development for their first feature film, Rhinestone Cowboi.

Director, 'artist / autist'

lisa g is a queer artist/filmmaker living on the unceded and stolen territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Sel̓íl̓witulh Nations. They combine animation, analog film and digital media to create work that has historical reference, social relevance & humour. They work independently, with other artists and within communities.

Chris Reed

Cast, 'The Birdhouse'

Chris Reed (Continental Breakfast) is a non-binary multidisciplinary artist, event curator and director of media production company, Queer Based Media. They are Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree and are a settler on the stolen lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. They are a member of the Darlings, a non-binary drag performance art collective in so-called Vancouver.
