Ballroom Workshop for Youth

The free workshop for youth explores what it means to be in a ballroom family, and how ballroom is a competition but also a community space. The workshop will also teach some basics of major ballroom categories like Vogue Fem, Runway, Face, Realness and Best Dressed.

Led by members of the Vancouver chapter of the Legendary Haus of Hua Mulan!

Savoy Mulan

Savoy Mulan walks the category of REALNESS and has recently awarded Transman Realness Of The Year. He experiences ballroom as a great opportunity to showcase creativity, build community and feel larger than life on the floor. As he continues to walk in Vancouver he hopes to continue pushing the boundaries of what it means to be real with each battle. He is excited to share a bit of ballroom history with you and hopes you have a good time learning from his Mulan housemates!

Pabllo Mulan

Originally from Brazil, Pabllo moved to the so-called Vancouver in 2015 to pursue a career in dance. Since discovering the ballroom scene in 2023, he has been dedicated to supporting others through open practice sessions and creating empowering spaces for growth. Pabllo currently walks the categories Butch Queen European Runway and Butch Queen Vogue Femme, making moments every time he hits the floor and collecting wins both nationally and internationally. In 2025, he joined the House of Mulan, where he found not only a community, but also a family.
